We are in need of a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer at one of our financial services customers, with experience in implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS.
Understand DevOps and pipeline configuration
Implement automation and orchestration techniques to streamline deployment processes.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and services.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS.
n-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.
Hands-on experience with cloud automation and configuration management tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible).
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and routing.
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS certification (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Cloud Practitioner).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
