A reputable concern in the financial services industry is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Finance service offering for the division by providing professional and ethical financial practices and services that support business decision making and performance. The Financial Manager will be responsible for reviewing the account balances, monthly journals and reconciliations as well reviewing of annual financial statements. The Financial Manager will also be responsible for analyzing the financial results and managing the operational finance team.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA (SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 4-6 years’ post article experience
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role
Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
Excellent people management and leadership skills
Strong IFRS knowledge
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Business acumen and strategic thinking
