Overview

Lifeway is seeking a Project Management Intern to assist in coordination and oversight of all aspects of IT projects. You will gain first hand experience working through information technology projects in support of the organization's needs. You will work collaboratively and effectively with teams to perform key tasks and support all aspects of projects to help ensure success.

The Lifeway Internship Program is designed to provide college students and recent college graduates a valuable learning experience where they can grow professionally, personally, and spiritually. Our internships offer significantly more than busy work. As an intern, youll receive professional development and leadership training, exposure to senior leaders, and mentoring relationships with professionals in your field.

Internship Program Details/Requirements

Lifeways summer internship program offers a competitive hourly pay rate, all necessary equipment will be provided

Interns work 32 hours per week on average with Tuesday - Thursday as required core workdays

Interns must commit to participate in the entirety of the program: June 3 - August 9, 2024 (10 weeks)

Candidates must be currently enrolled at a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program, and have fully completed at least two years of study. Recent graduates are eligible if they graduated the semester immediately prior (December 2023 or May 2024 graduates only)

Interns will receive development each week

Interns will work remotely throughout the program with the exception of orientation and end-of-summer presentations. Lifeway will cover the cost of travel to Nashville

Internship applications are due by January 15, we will begin interviews once the applications are closed. Selections are finalized by April 1

This is a remote position in the U.S. with travel to Nashville at the beginning and end of the summer, cost for travel is covered by Lifeway.

Responsibilities

Create IT project objectives, success criteria and schedules with the senior project manager's oversight

Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects

Prepare/present reports regarding status of projects

Qualifications

Live out, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work

Major in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field

Some exposure to information technology projects through a previous internship or school assignments

Organizational and time management skills

Adaptability and relationship building skills

Critical thinking skills and attention to detail

Self disciplined

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 preferred
