Job Description

Your experience in handling PR agencies, advertising agencies and working within a complex business framework is rock solid. And the cherry on top, you love planning and delivering events and sponsorships that influence and define the success of the brand.


You will be required to achieve brand awareness and recognition of the company’s purpose by driving the brand message through internal communications, external media, activations and events. The ability to multi-task projects and work autonomously in a fast paced, high growth environment. Strong in-depth knowledge of concepts and technologies for online advertising, marketing and social media


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the PR strategy for all brands
  • Managing external PR agencies, activations and suppliers
  • Develop and execute a reputation management strategy
  • Building the Brand, via media opportunities for the brand to show up, sponsorship management, leveraging our CSI Initiatives
  • “Shifting Lives” story development and distribution
  • Consulting and/or executing of internal and external event management
  • The over-sight of all books written or published



  • Tertiary level (minimum diploma) in Communication


Experience & Skills:

  • 10 years’ experience of which 2 years need to be in PR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of all media
  • Insights into various media consumption
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Project and outsourced partner management
  • Event Management
  • Media relationships
  • Ability to identify media opportunities for business
  • Directing photographic and video shoots
  • Budgeting
  • A can-do, will-do attitude and energy that never fails
  • Ability to work with company Shareholders and Executives
  • A pronounced understanding of people’s motivations and what gets them excited
