We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Accountant to join a dynamic finance team within a multi-entity environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple legal entities, manage hedge accounting, and contribute to financial consolidations and reporting. POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
Execute vendor and internal payments accurately and within set timelines.
Monitor and reconcile bank transactions and account balances.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and support liquidity and cash flow planning.
Compile, analyse and present monthly financial reports.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure accurate accounting and documentation of hedge activities in line with applicable standards.
Coordinate hedge transactions and provide timely reporting on hedge positions and performance.
Consolidate financial information across multiple entities and business units.
Reconcile and eliminate intercompany transactions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for consolidated accounts.
Support external audits and respond to audit queries.
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, controls and processes.
Assist in implementing financial workflows for new projects.

Qualification and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Completed SAICA articles at a registered auditing firm.
Minimum of 2 years’ relevant post-article experience, including hedge accounting and consolidations.
Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of cost accounting and standard cost principles.
Experience in a multi-entity environment will be advantageous.:

Analytical, problem-solving and organisational capabilities.
Strong time management and accuracy under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
