POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles (preferred).
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in the Accounting space.
Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
Proficient in CaseWare, Xero, Pastel, Sage One Accounting and Sage Payroll

The Job

Lead, review and conduct audits and independent reviews across multiple sectors.
Manage client relationships and expectations with professionalism and care.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their growth and development.
Schedule and manage annual audit work, ensuring deadlines are met.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting laws and regulations.
Review and prepare complex tax returns and related tax calculations.
Review and draft financial statements in terms of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs.
Oversee month-end procedures for a portfolio of clients.
