POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
An exciting opportunity is available for an Accounting Specialist who enjoys combining finance with systems support and operational problem-solving. This role is ideal for someone who is technically minded, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment where finance and IT processes intersect.

You will support financial operations while assisting with ticket-based system and accounting queries, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and continuous learning. Exposure to the tourism industry will be advantageous but is not essential.

If you are analytical, solutions-driven, and eager to expand your skillset beyond traditional accounting, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Support accounting and operational finance functions
Assist with reconciliations and financial processing
Resolve finance-related system and ticket queries
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
Work closely with operational and support teams
Assist with process improvements and system efficiencies

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

BCom Degree or Advanced / Higher Diploma

Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ relevant experience
Exposure to accounting systems and operational finance essential
Tourism industry exposure advantageous

Skills:

Strong problem-solving ability
Systems and ticketing exposure
Reconciliations and reporting
MS Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
