SUMMARY:
Calling all immediately available AR Controllers!!

POSITION INFO:
A private education provider is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Controller to join their finance team on a 7-month fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in improving their cash flow by proactively contacting clients, building relationships, and ensuring that overdue accounts are brought up to date.

As an Accounts Receivable Controller, you will be responsible for:

Cold calling clients with overdue balances to secure payment
Managing and maintaining the AR ledger with a focus on reducing aged debt
Sending payment reminders, following up persistently and professionally
Working cross-functionally with sales, customer service, and finance teams
Negotiating payment plans where appropriate and escalating high-risk accounts
Tracking progress and reporting regularly to senior management

Qualifications:

Completed Matric
Credit Management/Finance qualification would be beneficial

Skills:

2 - 5 years’ experience
Attention to detail
Experience in a Shared Services environment
