Acupuncturist

SUMMARY:
In line with MSC Cruises policies and procedures and under the supervision of the SPA Manager, the 
Acupuncturist is responsible for administering the highest quality Acupuncture services to onboard 
guests in order to maximise SPA revenue and achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.

- To deliver acupuncture services and offer consultations for a variety of different concerns.
- To propose retail recommendations following consultations and Acupuncture services.
- To host wellness events and informational sessions to educate guests on Chinese medicine 
principles and benefits whilst driving service and retail revenue.
- To ensure compliance with onboard policies and procedures, including but not limited to guest 
records, health & safety, sanitation.
- To build relationships with guests and keep a track of their medical records, ensuring 
satisfaction and encouraging repeated visits. 
- To collaborate with the Spa team to provide exceptional customer service and a holistic 
wellness experience for guests.
- Supports in all areas of the SPA operation as requested by the SPA Manager

REQUIREMENTS
Professional
compliance
Government accredited Certificate or License in Traditional Chinese Medicine / Acupuncture (at least
2000 hours);
Advanced – Chinese medicine knowledge (Acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, etc.)
IT/Equipment

Basic IT knowledge
Language Capability C1/C2 - English
B1 – Italian or French (MED Canvas), German (NOR Canvas), Portugese (SOA Canvas)
