A well-established organisation based in Bloemfontein is looking for a dedicated and experienced Administrative / Financial Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both daily administrative tasks and financial operations within the organisation.

Handling emails, incoming calls, and general filing

Managing leave applications and internal communication documents

Organising committee meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes

Arranging vehicle licenses and service schedules

Maintaining clear documentation and paper trails

Supporting eye screening arrangements and handling associated admin

Preparing weekly content or sourcing posts for the organisation’s Facebook page

Processing salaries and payslips
-
Submitting EMP201 declarations to SARS (PAYE)

Managing and reconciling multiple monthly budgets

Handling petty cash for various internal purposes

Drafting financial reports and business plans for the Department of Social Development

Approving or loading EFT transactions as a signatory
-
Monthly financial reconciliations using Excel (income, petty cash, EFTs, card, debit orders)

Managing and supporting various fundraising initiatives

Budget drafting for annual funding applications

Admin related to donor funding
-
Administering low vision stock, quotes, and invoices
-
Sourcing affordable assistive items for low-income clients
-
Managing the application process for low vision items
