POSITION INFO:
My client is a well known JSE listed entity and market leader within the private education industry. They are currently expanding their partnerships with industry leaders and has a growth opportunity for an Assistant Finance Lead to join their dynamic team within the Education division of the organisation.

This company sees themselves as unconventional and would like to hire an independent candidate who is eccentric and will contribute to the overall success of the business. The candidate will advise and support the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

Management of accounting systems
Lead and manage operational accounting
Subledger to general ledger reconciliations
Authorisation, accuracy, and completeness of journals
Monthly management account preparation and presentation of management accounts to brand finance teams
Monthly statutory reporting
Design processes and procedures that meet audit standards
Analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue
Responsible for overall team performance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

CA(SA)
Transactional finance exposure
Group shared services
Management experience
Management accounting essential
5-10 years’ experience
