A prominent player in the mining and manufacturing sector is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Assistant Financial Manager to join its Group Finance division, based in Johannesburg North. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified Chartered Accountant with a strong background in consolidation and reporting at group level, particularly within a listed environment.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively within a high-pressure, deadline-driven setting. A minimum of three to five years’ post-article experience in a similar role is essential. Is this you? Apply now!


Duties:

• Manage and execute the full group consolidation process across multiple legal entities, including both local and international subsidiaries
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports in accordance with IFRS
• Assist in the preparation of interim and annual financial statements for JSE-listed reporting
• Support the external audit process, liaising with auditors and ensuring readiness of group financial information
• Ensure compliance with JSE listing requirements, internal policies, and financial reporting regulations

• Qualified CA(SA)

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with a strong focus on: Group consolidations, external reporting within a listed entity and IFRS compliance and JSE disclosure requirements
• Previous experience in the mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred
