JOB SUMMARY:
A leading global Law firm which covers a broad range of corporate and regulatory matters with a focus on
the financial services industry, with offices in over 6 Countries is currently seeking a Senior Associate for their
Sandton office to focus on their Insurance division. This is an amazing opportunity that will allow the successful
candidate an opportunity to be part of a world-leading corporate team and work on complex projects. The
firm’s corporate practice includes, but is not limited to M&A, capital markets, investment funds, commercial
contracts, corporate restructurings, and regulatory matters.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Advising insurance and commercial clients on both contentious and non-contentious matters, with
particular emphasis on financial institutions.
- Dealing with and advising clients on professional negligence, fidelity and commercial crime, medical
malpractice, pension fund trustee liability, directors and officers liability insurance, warranties and
indemnities insurance and general commercial litigation.
- Handling complex claims and working with a number of syndicates on various commercial and corporate
matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
- 5 Years PQE (Majority of which should be in Insurance – Financial)
- Proven experience of supervising and supporting a legal team.
