SUMMARY:

A highly experienced Solar & BESS Engineer is required to lead the design and delivery of large-scale renewable energy projects (1MW–10MW).

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

This role is suited to a seasoned engineer with strong expertise in solar PV and battery energy storage systems. You will take ownership of high-value projects, driving technical design, costings, and execution across utility-scale and commercial installations.
You will operate at a senior level, ensuring that complex energy systems are designed efficiently, delivered within budget, and executed to the highest technical standard.

Education:

BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering or related field

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5–6 years’ experience in solar PV and BESS projects
Proven experience working on large-scale installations (1MW – 10MW)
Strong capability in high-level system design and engineering calculations
Experience with project costing, budgeting, and commercial inputs
Solid understanding of grid-tied systems, inverters, and battery technologies
Familiarity with design tools (PV*Sol, Helioscope or similar – advantageous)
Strong project oversight and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities:

Lead high-level design of solar PV and BESS systems
Develop project costings, proposals, and technical solutions
Oversee project execution from design through to commissioning
Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with EPCs, contractors, and internal teams
Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets
Provide technical leadership and support across projects
Identify risks and drive solutions to ensure successful delivery
