BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

LARGE LAW FIRM IN SANDTON

R 400 000 - R 500 000 CTC NEGOTIABLE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Marketing, Communications or Business Diploma or Degree
Minimum 3-5 years experience preferably in a business development capacity in a corporate/professional services environment
Experience in the legal services industry would be preferable
New business development
Source, prepare and submit tenders & proposals from start to finish
Develop relevant, key selling messages for pitches and client presentations
Review, maintain and update all pitch and tender collateral
Business development and CRM support
Develop market knowledge, understanding and insights to identify potential business opportunities with both new and existing clients
Assist with identifying and delivering high-quality and relevant BD initiatives and providing the appropriate organisational support
Building relationships across the various legal teams and business services
Coordination of directory and award submissions
Matter and deal collection
People management
CRM system management
Commitment to quality and strong attention to detail
Good command of the English language
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with systems including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and InterAction
Practical, proactive, commercially-minded and service driven with a "can do" positive attitude
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team and across multiple stakeholders
Ability to learn new technology and processes
Ability to work independently
Analytical and research skills
Delivery orientated
Ability to prioritize and deadline driven
Ability to operate professionally across all levels of the organisation
