A respected engineering and mining contractor is looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join their operations in the Free State. This is an opportunity for a skilled artisan to apply their trade in a demanding industrial or mining environment.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
- N2 qualification in relevant trade field
- 3+ years post-trade experience in mining, heavy industry, or plant environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Medically fit (must pass mine medical)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Perform structural maintenance and fabrication tasks per job cards/work orders
- Report issues and recommend improvements to Supervisor
- Participate in section planning and ensure high housekeeping standards
- Comply with mine and site safety regulations at all time
