A respected engineering and mining contractor is looking for a qualified Boilermaker to join their operations in the Free State. This is an opportunity for a skilled artisan to apply their trade in a demanding industrial or mining environment.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate
• Boilermaker Trade Certificate (Red Seal)
• N2 qualification in relevant trade field
• 3+ years post-trade experience in mining, heavy industry, or plant environments
• Valid driver’s license
• Medically fit (must pass mine medical)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Perform structural maintenance and fabrication tasks per job cards/work orders
• Report issues and recommend improvements to Supervisor
• Participate in section planning and ensure high housekeeping standards
• Comply with mine and site safety regulations at all time
