A powerhouse in fitness and physical health is looking for an industrious Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

POSITION INFO:
A powerhouse in fitness and physical health is looking for an industrious Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

You will be responsible for providing updated and accurate financial data and ensuring compliance on accounts receivable and payable, daily entries and reconciliations. Your duties include but are not limited to accurate record keeping of daily financial transactions and posting process, verification of transaction in supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger. Maintain and balance the general ledger. Bank reconciliations, books to trial balance stage, data capturing, maintaining records and preparation of reports and statements through collection, analysis, and summarization of data. Processes of accounts receivable and payable. Assist in payroll processes, reconciliations of accounts, interpreting and applying accounting policies and rules to ensure compliance.

Education Requirements:

Matric completed
Relevant diploma/certificate in Finance/Accounting

Job Requirements and Skills:

Solid understanding of bookkeeping, and debtors and creditors principles
Strong MS Excel Skills
Knowledge in Accounting Software- SAP/360 Business Central preferred
Ability to take initiative
Results driven
Team Player
Effective communication skills
