Introduction

A leading company in the mining and construction industry based in Midrand are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accountant/PA to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Personal Assistance to Management

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements

  • Handle confidential correspondence and prepare reports or presentations

• Bookkeeping and Financial Records

  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage/Pastel)

  • Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable

• Payroll and Compliance Support

  • Prepare monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance (UIF, PAYE, etc.)

  • Assist with VAT submissions and liaise with accountants/auditors

• Office Administration

  • Order office supplies, manage filing systems, and handle general admin tasks

  • Support internal teams with documentation and day-to-day operations

• Supplier and Client Liaison

  • Communicate with suppliers and clients regarding payments and queries

  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom in Finance
• Experience in Pastel & Accpac

Package & Remuneration

R50 000 CTC
