Breakfast Chef
Job Description:
As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards. Your duties will include:
Job Duties:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes such as eggs, bacon, sausages, and pastries
- Ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to health and safety regulations
- Monitoring and managing kitchen stock levels
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth breakfast service
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
Education:
Formal culinary training or relevant qualification preferred
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of breakfast food trends
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Experience working in a hotel or restaurant setting
Working Conditions:
You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and may be required to work early morning shifts. Weekend and holiday work may be necessary.
