Our client is looking for a Building Manager urgently

Building Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a building or group of buildings, ensuring they run smoothly and meet the needs of tenants and that of the owner. A building manager has a variety of tasks, including writing out job cards for the maintenance team to attend to, Ensuringthe building is safe and secure for all tenants, ensuring cleaners upkeep the standard of the building and is cleaned timeously. A Building Manager acts as the first point of contact for tenants and the owner for all related issues.
A Building Managers duty is to ensure tenants rent is paid on time and carry out all instructions given by the Head office.
Core Responsibilities:
Building Operations:
Managing day-to-day activities, including job-cards for maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
Maintenance & Repairs:
Oversee that maintenance tasks are completed
Safety & Security:
Ensuring the building is safe and secure.
Tenant/Owner Relations:
Acting as a point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns, and maintaining positive relationships.
Compliance:
Ensuring the building adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
Budget Management:
Managing the building''''s financing
Record Keeping, ensuring tenants pay rent on time.
Maintaining records of all building activities, repairs, and maintenance logs.
Supervision:
Supervising maintenance staff, security personnel, and other building personnel.
Specific Tasks May Include:
Conducting regular inspections of the building.
Responding to tenant inquiries and complaints.
Managing vendor contracts for services like upkeeping and waste removal.
Overseeing the operation and maintenance of building systems
Creating monthly reports on building performance.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures (5years+)
Leadership and supervisory skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be a good driver.
Clean criminal record – (Background checks will be conducted)
