Business Developer

The company has an exciting front-office position for a highly motivated, high-energy individual who is financially savvy, dynamic, resilient, and driven and looking to learn top-tier B2B business development skills.

We are looking for business developers for our international tech company to grow within our Business Development and deal-making team. As part of a growing team, your efforts will fundamentally affect the company's success and provide you with exciting room for growth within the Business Development and Deal-making team.

The role will provide an opportunity to advance to a deal-making position for individuals displaying the required drive and negotiation skills and can exhibit that they comfortably meet their foundation targets (obtaining demo meetings, exhibiting demos and sales skills, negotiations, and deal-closing skills). Due to the specialized nature of the company's offering, a solid financial acumen would be needed to deal with clients at the C-Suite level.

Role:

• Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, target clients, partnerships, global opportunities, or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization and outreach to target clients to create a sales pipeline
• Arrange demo meetings via sales calls or other methods approved by the senior staff
• Generate leads, establish points of contact, engage with decision-makers, and build relationships. This includes identifying and researching potential clients in the local and targeted international market, attending relevant/ approved conferences, and internal and external networking
• Set up and present demos effectively to potential clients with the aim of closing deals
• Assist senior members of the team in putting together proposals and assist in negotiating and closing deals to the extent required by the senior team
• Managing outbound sales and business development campaigns
• Follow up on warm opportunities that you have created
• Maintain a strong understanding of the product, features, and technical specifications to effectively engage with potential clients
• Understand the needs of your clients to be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
• Attend weekly business development/sales team meetings and provide information to management about sales figures, goals, forecasts, and obstacles
• Provide feedback to Client Management and IT teams on ways to improve the platform that will result in growth in market share

Requirements:

• 2 - 5 years of direct work experience in business development or sales
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and presentation skills
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and the target is driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client's needs
• Relationship-building skills and openness to feedback
