The Role: Business Development Co-ordinator
This hybrid role bridges the gap between business development and care coordination. As the Business Development Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for strengthening relationships with referral partners, driving patient referrals, and ensuring a seamless care journey for service users. You''ll play a key role in promoting services, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and care facilities
- Conduct outreach and presentations to promote the organization''s care services
- Develop and implement localized marketing strategies to grow patient referrals
- Coordinate care services, including initial patient assessments and follow-ups
- Act as the main point of contact between families, patients, and internal clinical teams
- Track and report on referral patterns, marketing activities, and patient satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation via CRM and EMR systems
About You
- Based in Cape Town (non-negotiable)
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare and/or business development
- Proven success in a sales or outreach-focused healthcare role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM/EMR platforms
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Passionate about improving healthcare access and outcomes
