Job Description

Note: Only candidates who have experience in the Mining and Engineering sectors will be considered.

As a Professional Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will be:

Conduct ECMI and SMPP measurements
Administer mining contracts and manage documentation
Prepare and issue progress certificates
Compile and analyze cost reports
Participate in site visits and project assessments

Qualifications

BSc / BTech in Quantity Surveying

Skills

Proficiency in ECMI and SMPP measurement techniques.
Understanding of mining contract structures and terms.
Ability to prepare and analyze cost reports.
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
Familiarity with mining and engineering project environments.
Understanding of construction and industrial processes.
Competence in QS-related software (e.g., CCS Candy, BuildSmart, MS Excel).
General IT literacy for reporting and documentation.

Salary/Package

R360 000 – R800 000
