SUMMARY:
Our client based in Soweto is looking for a Cash Office Assistant to manage the daily operations within the cash office by supervising staff and coordination with clients. Clean Cash Office and workstation.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
Matric or Grade12 - Essential
Diploma in Business Management will be advantageous
Minimum of 6 months - 1 year’s experience in sales in a retail store, bulk cash handling and problem solving
Experience in the Liquor or retail industry will be advantageous
Leading & Supervising
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
A team player with high level of dedication

Knowledge and skills
Good computer skills (MS Office)
Problem Solving
Communication skills – verbal and written
Attention to detail

Duties:
Ensure the end of day taking is correct and must Balances
To ensure Cash Office and workstations are kept clean
Stand in when cash office supervisor is day off, sick or on annual leave.
Request order form/invoice Authorized Operates till if necessary.
all various steps to cash up.
Make payments for the bottle store to cash up as to see, that they balance
Daily reconciliation of cash up.
Customer Services
Out of stock.
Customers change mind.
Wrong item sold.
Expired stock


Make credit notes for various reasons
1.Ensuring that customers complaints and comments are taken into consideration and are attended to.
2. Cancelling empties returned vouchers that were not used.
3. Ensuring that empties done from delivery were captured and collected correctly for various credit account customers
