SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Certification & Laboratory Engineer in Olifantsfontein

POSITION INFO:

MANUFACTURING

N6 Electrical diploma (or Electrical Engineering degree),

IES SA Certificate - Principles of lighting,

Certificate on quality assurance

Implementation and evaluation of quality systems,

Knowledge of luminaire and lighting specifications, lighting terms/principles,

Calibration of test equipment,

Photometric measurements and electrical testing of luminaires and luminaire components

The successful candidate shall be self-motivated, target driven and able to work independently with good communication skills on a senior level.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Responsible for ensuring that all products comply with the requirements of national and international standards

Product Certification - SABS and CERTEX

Testing of luminaires to specific permit conditions - SABS and CERTEX

Testing of luminaire components

Photometric testing of luminaires

Calibration of Equipment

Control of SANS Specifications

Product failures (Customer Claims)

Inspection on assembly lines (Factory)

Quality Inspection Sheets (Incoming Goods)

Training and Technical Support

SABS Technical Committee
