SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering space is looking for a dynamic Civil Engineer Technician to join their team for 3 to 4 months.

POSITION INFO:
Key requirements:

Diploma in Civil Engineering
3 years of experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Good problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze and interpret complex technical information

Key functions:

Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of civil engineering assets to evaluate their condition and identify issues or deficiencies
Utilize various inspection technique, tools, and equipment to gather accurate data on asset condition, including visual inspections, measurements and non-destructive testing
Record and document inspection findings, measurements and observations in a systematic and organized way
Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze collected data and assist in the development of comprehensive condition assessment reports
Identify and document any structural or operational deficiencies, deterioration, or safety concerns in the assets being assessed
Provide recommendations for maintenance, repair or rehabilitation based on the assessed condition of assets
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases and documentation related to asset condition
