Civil Engineer/Civil Technologist

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer/Technologist with expertise in bulk infrastructure projects to join our client's team for a 36 months contract.

The successful candidate will design, manage, and deliver municipal infrastructure projects (water, sanitation, roads) while ensuring compliance with regulatory and EPWP standards.

POSITION INFO:
Our client in the Engineering sector is looking for a Professional Civil Engineer/Technologist to join their team for a project in KwaZulu Natal, KwaDukuza.

Desired Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  Must be fully registered as a Pr Eng/Pr Tech Eng. (Non-negotiable)
• 5+ years of experience in bulk civil engineering (water, sanitation, roads).
• Must submit portfolio of projects (i.e Municipal infrastructure, EPWP Compliance).

• Develop detailed designs and plans for bulk civil engineering projects, including water supply systems, sanitation infrastructure, and road networks, ensuring compliance with municipal standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project planning and design.
• Oversee the implementation of municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and municipal authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any technical or logistical challenges that arise.
