A respected client is looking to appoint a Claims Clerk to support its Withdrawal Claims Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly dependable and service-driven individual with a strong administrative background to process withdrawal and retrenchment claims with accuracy and professionalism.

Key Duties:

• Administer withdrawal and retrenchment claims in line with company procedures
• Assess documents for completeness and compliance with regulatory standards
• Calculate and prepare benefit payments accurately
• Respond to queries from members and employers via telephone, email, or written correspondence
• Submit statistical reports and update internal systems (Workflow and mainframe)
• Provide exceptional customer service and adhere to the Pension Funds Act
• Prioritise work effectively and meet strict deadlines

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role
• Exposure to pension fund contributions or claims processing (advantageous)
• Solid communication skills – both written and verbal
• Intermediate MS Office and computer proficiency
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Strong problem-solving ability and team collaboration
