Our client a leading fibre network operator specializing in building and operating open access fibre networks is looking for a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (or Specialist/Architect) to design, implement, and maintain their cloud infrastructure. This role is vital for ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable cloud environments that support the organization’s digital growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Configure and manage virtual servers, storage, and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud issues.
• Work closely with development and operations teams for smooth deployments.
• Apply security best practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
• Assess new cloud technologies and advise on adoption.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and storage principles.
• Experience using infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Relevant cloud certifications are advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
