POSITION INFO:

COBOL Knowledge
- Understanding of COBOL syntax, structures, and logic to accurately interpret legacy code for conversion.
- Candidates must demonstrate: COBOL projects on their resume, work experience at organisations using COBOL.
CCB Experience
- Familiarity with Oracle CCB, particularly version 2.6 or similar versions. Experience in its architecture, functionality, and configuration.
- Candidates must demonstrate: Hands-on project experience with Oracle CCB, certifications related to Oracle CCB.
Java Development Expertise
- Proficiency in Java, especially in converting business logic from COBOL to Java.
- Experience with Java EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Database Management
- Knowledge of the databases used with CCB, typically Oracle DB, and handling changes during migration from COBOL to Java.
