Our client in the Agriculture sector, situated in Tanzania, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to join its growing team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture or a related field
• Proven experience in administration and management, preferably in an agricultural setting
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian labour laws and statutory compliance
• Competence in HR, budgeting, procurement and basic accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital management systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the farm and ensure accurate records and documentation are maintained
• Recruit and manage farm labour in line with operational needs
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment of wages
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and Tanzanian labour regulations
• Handle human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
• Implement staff welfare programs to promote a positive work environment
• Manage farm accounts and financial records
• Prepare and monitor budgets and financial reports
• Oversee the procurement of farm supplies and equipment
• Manage inventory levels and ensure timely availability of resources
• Implement and maintain effective security measures to protect farm assets
• Coordinate with security personnel and local authorities as needed
• Liaise with and oversee the team responsible for developing and managing community partnerships
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable Tanzanian laws and regulations
• Prepare for internal and external audits and inspections
