Company Accountant

Job Experience & Skills Required:

The successful candidate will form part of the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Tasks will include, et al:

Manage and oversee the accounting function.
Monthly review of accounts & reconciliations.
Management account preparation.
Board pack preparation.
Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Review of VAT and PAYE submissions.
Review of tax and provisional tax calculations.
Review of weekly payments.
Oversee the annual audit/review.
Instrumental in Warehouse system integration into financial processes – strong knowledge and experience in this field are imperative.
Oversee annual Stock count process.
Strong previous experience in stock-based business – controlling/overseeing stock function.
Review and improve business controls and processes.

Hours:

Fulltime 08:00-17:00 Mondays to Fridays, some opportunity for hybrid working.
Clean criminal record and debt check.
Minimum 5 years of experience in role matching job spec.

The salary is negotiable based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
