Controls Engineer Kariega (Automotive)

SUMMARY:
The Controls Engineer is responsible for improving the effectiveness of the workforce by developing and implementing process improvement projects in operations and developing standard processing procedures in the plant.

Education/Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years Automotive industry experience.
• Btech / Batchelor’s degree in Engineering, electrical or mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Technical Proficient in Microsoft office, Ladder Logic – Siemens Step 7; Siemens TIA; Allen Bradley Rockwell.
• Requires experience in mechanical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems and equipment.
• Requires a broad knowledge of controls and mechanisms. Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, design, and optimization of systems.
• Excellent problem solving, decision making and planning skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities,
• completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Will require time to be spent on all 3 shifts to train necessary Team members.
