Who are we: A conference and events management business

Who are we looking for: A senior corporate events manager

What will you do:

Implementation and execution of a variety of events, product launches, conferences, functions, incentives·
Onsite event management from concept, execution through to closure
Negotiating of pricing with suppliers for Best Available Rates to offer clients
Continually looking for creative ideas and reviewing product offerings for clients
Building and retaining relationships with clients.
Ensure that deadlines are met and proposals sent out efficiently and timeously
Following up with clients
Taking ownership of event folders and updating thereof
Manage the budget on projects worked on

What do you need:

Events Management Experience - in excess of 10 years.
Experience with exhibitions, product launches, roadshows, corporate events, conferences & incentives management
Creativity and lateral thinking ability as well as negotiation skills
Multi tasking skills
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Manage an event from start to finish including the management of the budget in excel
Liaise with various role-players and stake holders to facilitate the smooth running of event
Flexibility to work overtime and away from home.
