Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst and Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, advanced data modeling capabilities, and a passion for transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights. This role is instrumental in supporting data-driven decision-making across departments, with a core focus on developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools, primarily Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Preparation

• Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Integrate data from business systems including ERP, CRM, and financial platforms.

Business Analysis and Insights

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights across multiple business functions, including but not limited to finance, operations, and sales.
• Translate business needs into data solutions and provide insights that influence strategic decisions.

Business Intelligence Development

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and other BI platforms, tailored to business and stakeholder requirements.
• Implement DAX measures and data modeling best practices for efficient and scalable reporting solutions.
• Continuously improve dashboard usability, performance, and automation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data needs, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support non-technical stakeholders in understanding and interpreting data insights and visualizations.

Systems and Tool Integration

• Work with accounting and business systems such as Sage, Pastel, and Microsoft Dynamics to extract and model financial and operational data.
• Contribute to data integration and ETL processes across multiple platforms and data sources.

Data Governance and Quality

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in all reports and analytical outputs.
• Adhere to data privacy, compliance, and governance standards.

Process Improvement and Automation

• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization in data workflows and reporting processes.
• Enhance efficiency in recurring reports through scripting or low-code automation tools.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Proficiency

• Advanced development skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating structured data.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA desirable).
• Experience with scripting tools such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory).

Business and Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance metrics across departments.
• Experience working with financial data and systems is a strong advantage.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

• Ability to interpret complex data sets and present meaningful insights.
• High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.

Communication and Collaboration

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or BI developer role.
• Previous work in finance, supply chain, sales, or operations analytics.
• Experience automating reporting processes or working with API integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data project lifecycles.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – In Office 07h00 – 16h00

One Saturday per month 08h00 to 12h00
