This organisation is one of the largest Long term and short term insurance providers in South Africa. The successful candidate will build and maintain predictive and machine learning models as well as collect, analyse, report, and interpret data for the purpose of developing business strategies.
Education:
BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related
Short courses is a massive advantage
Job Experience & Skills Required:
5+ years of experience within an analytical or data science space
Machine learning techniques and model building is essential (descriptive and predictive modelling)
Sound knowledge of statistics
Proficient in SQL, Python, R and SAS
