SUMMARY:
A private game reserve is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their technical and maintenance team. This is a live-in role suited to someone confident working independently on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery in a bush environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair diesel vehicles, game viewers, tractors, and generators
Conduct routine servicing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained and in working order
Keep accurate service records and manage parts inventory
Respond to breakdowns efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic qualification
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience (bush or farm environment is a plus)
Strong knowledge of 4x4 vehicles, Land Cruisers, and agricultural equipment
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure
Physically fit and comfortable working in remote areas
Valid driver’s licence
