Diesel Mechanic

SUMMARY:
A private game reserve is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their technical and maintenance team. This is a live-in role suited to someone confident working independently on a variety of diesel-powered vehicles and machinery in a bush environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair diesel vehicles, game viewers, tractors, and generators
• Conduct routine servicing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance
• Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained and in working order
• Keep accurate service records and manage parts inventory
• Respond to breakdowns efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Trade-tested Diesel Mechanic qualification
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience (bush or farm environment is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of 4x4 vehicles, Land Cruisers, and agricultural equipment
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under pressure
• Physically fit and comfortable working in remote areas
• Valid driver’s licence
