SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ a Diesel Mechanic at their organization

POSITION INFO:
Location: Lynwood Extension, Pretoria

Requirements:

Diesel Mechanic Trade qualification
Minimum 3–5 years' post-trade experience working as a Diesel Mechanic
Experience working with automatic gearboxes.
Must be familiar with Cummins, UD, and Tata Engines
Must be comfortable with both hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Strong knowledge of fault diagnosis and repair procedures
Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software
A commitment to workplace health and safety practices
Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is preferred

Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel engines and related systems.
Identifying and troubleshooting issues with diesel engines and associated components using diagnostic tools and software.
Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Maintaining records of maintenance and repairs.
Working on automatic gearboxes.
