EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - JHB
R900K annually
Be part of a movement with a global footprint that mobilises the collective caring power of individuals and families. My client is looking to hire a seasoned Executive Director to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for establishing a vision for Community impact and advocate the brand by understanding his/her role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibility and duties:

Community Impact
Working closely with the Board
Adjust the strategy to achieve increased impact, including raising funds
Build relationships with top leaders in the community
Resource Development
Driving key results in fundraising
Identifying cultivating and soliciting prospective donors and key leaders
Leveraging personal and professional contacts and relationships into fundraising opportunities
Promotion a culture of fundraising in the organization
Strategic Management
Serving as the principal resource to the Board of Directors and its key committees
Partnering with the Board of Directors and the leadership team to craft organisational goals
Ensuring coordination and alignment of all activities to strategic direction in the areas of community impact, resource development and staff alignment.
Operational and Financial Management
Building and leading high-performing teams
Making sure all teams are aligned and collaborating to achieve organizational results
Maintaining accountability for the operational and fiscal integrity of the organization within policies set by the Board of Directors
Assessing organizational capacity to implement strategies and identifying gaps in systems and staffing
Supervising Senior Leadership positions and establishing individual goals
Monitoring budget compliance and mitigate financial risks

Qualifications & Experience:

Working in the non-profit sector
Proven track record in building revenue and increasing philanthropic support
Tertiary qualification
Preferably a master’s degree
5 years’ experience
