Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY:
On behalf of our client, a leading engineering consultancy in the power and energy sector, we are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer with a strong background in substation design.

POSITION INFO:
As part of a dynamic and growing team, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality substation design projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a diverse portfolio of electrical infrastructure projects across transmission and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review of electrical substations up to [Insert Voltage Level, e.g., 132kV/220kV/400kV]
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and protection/control systems
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and client specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substation design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
• Strong understanding of protection systems, HV/LV equipment, and grid connection requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
