JOB SUMMARY:
Leading Automotive Client seeking am (ideally from Olifantsfontein) trade tested Electrical Foreman with a minimum of 10 years experience. MUST have extensive knowledge of high and medium voltage, Experience in installation of AC/DC variable speed drives and commissioning, PLC fault finding, programming and installation as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Minimum NTC 4.
Trade tested red seal Olifantsfontein.
At least 10 years experience as an.
Extensive high and medium voltage experience.
Extensive PLC fault finding, programming and installation.
Experience in installation of AC/DC variable speed drives and commissioning.
Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and installations.
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Strong leadership and management qualities providing on-site direction and leadership for artisans.
Must have good communication skills.
Computer literate.
Ability to work under pressure and minimize downtime on production machines

Duties and responsibilities amongst others:

Carry out planned maintenance and daily check sheets and job cards on production machines.
Coordinate electrical installation and projects.
Carry out safety inspections on equipment and plant as instructed.
Must work overtime and standby when required.
