Electrical Technician

Are you a skilled and hands-on Electrical Technician with a passion for travel and outdoor living? Join our client’s dynamic team a leading caravan manufacturer in South Africa! They are looking for someone who’s passionate about quality workmanship and eager to work on innovative mobile living solutions. The company is based in Centurion and is on a contractual basis.

POSITION INFO:
𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Electrical qualification OR proven minimum 4-6 years’ experience in practical electrical installations
• Hands-on experience with Victron equipment a big bonus
• Familiarity with solar, inverter, and dual-battery systems (12V and 220V)
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work neatly and independently with high attention to detail
• Experience in the caravan, trailer, or off-grid sector is a bonus

• Install and wire Victron inverters, chargers, MPPTs, and battery management systems
• Fit and configure solar panels, lithium battery banks, lights, plugs, and 12V/220V systems
• Troubleshoot and test completed electrical systems before handover
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
• Collaborate with workshop team to coordinate wiring with other build phases
