SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the operations manager with the design, development, testing and maintenance of equipment used within the transportation systems implemented by our client

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Conferring with customers, transport engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential equipment requirements used within Public Transport solutions.
Prepare, implement, and communicate quality assurance plan and requirements to all project stakeholders.
Ensuring that installation, maintenance, and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications and technical drawings.
Establishing manufacturing or installation standards or specifications.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
Prepare specifications for purchasing of equipment and materials.
Conduct on-site inspections of all installation activities on regular basis.
Participates in the selection of contracted staff.
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and provides advice on testing and commissioning procedures and documentation.
Supervising of training project and client technical team members.
Estimating material and labour costs for budget preparation.
Working with a variety of technicians.
