Embedded Developer in C++ – Cape Town – R75K-80K per month (Negotiable)

The ideal experienced engineer must be keen to take on challenges in the field of renewable energy sectors, working on projects developing firmware for lithium-ion batteries, IoT, AI, machine learning and smart home technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and testing new products and technologies
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers to research and develop products based on new ideas
• Conducting experiments and analysing data to improve product performance
• Participating in the commercialization of new products

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the field of lithium-ion batteries, inverters, IoT, AI, machine learning, or smart home technology
• 5 years of experience in either C++ for embedded systems or JS, HTML, CSS for front end development
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
