Energy Consultant

SUMMARY:
Seeking an Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineer to join the Energy Division of a top consulting engineering firm. The position will support the growth, development and service delivery of the energy consulting team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Project management support to lead Project Manager and delivery of lender’s advisory, owner’s engineer and design services within the renewable energy sector for private Independent Power Producer clients.
• This includes project planning and management, feasibility studies, concept design development and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation - with a particular focus on photovoltaic, wind, storage and grid systems.
• Writing technical reports & presentations, compiling design drawings and presentations.
• Preparation of bids and proposals. Support Senior Engineers in winning work.

• B.Eng., BSC. or B. Tech in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering, preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy and / or project management and or financial management.
• Must be registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA.
• Around 4 or more years work experience relevant to design and implementation of renewable energy projects (Solar and/or Wind).
• Recognisable experience relevant in the energy sector with specific exposure to the renewable energy (Solar and/or Wind).
