We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a world-class luxury lodge in the heart of the Pilanesberg, North West.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of the kitchen operation
Design and implement seasonal menus that showcase innovation and fresh, local ingredients
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional dining experiences
Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety
Manage food cost, stock control and kitchen budgeting
Train, mentor and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff
Collaborate with lodge management to ensure seamless service delivery across departments

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury lodge or hotel environment
Formal culinary qualification
Strong leadership and people management skills
Deep understanding of fine dining and modern culinary trends
Ability to perform under pressure and maintain high standards in a remote environment
A hands-on, creative and solutions-driven approach
