External Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our Client is seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as an External Sales Representative. The External Sales Representative is responsible for selling and promoting total solution concept to clients and to promote the clients business in accordance with the companies standards.

POSITION INFO:
JOB TITLE: External Sales Representative
AREA: Witbank, Emalahleni
INDUSTRY: Mining - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Salary / CTC: R 10 000 – R 20 000(Depending on current earnings, qualifications, and experience)
Report to: Sales Manager
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote new business through organised and outgoing prospecting system
• Regular planning a list which covers your territory effectively and economically on a weekly basis
• Render informative call reports on a daily basis
• Investigate and maintain a competitive customer recording system
• Investigate new lines that may sell well to customers
• Approach all situations with the organisations point of view and welfare in mind
• Ensure all customer enquiries and orders are completed in 7 days or according to the customers required date
• Submit a weekly accurate and comprehensive report detailing your activities, problems and opportunities
• To complete and submit any opportunities and threats in the opportunities
• Submit received orders daily to the anchor
• Follow up on outstanding orders in dispatch
• Attend weekly sales meetings
• Log and attend to customer complaints
• All calls, quotes and correspondence to be submitted on Microsoft planner daily

• Work experience of at least 3 years as a sales representative or in a sales role with a proven sales record

• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable car
• Good knowledge of safety products is an advantage
• Microsoft excel, word and outlook
• Familiar with verbal client communication and writing skills
• Excellent customer service delivery
• Good work ethic and application of procedures
• Organisational and time management skills
• Clean and presentable
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Attention to detail, with an ability to approach clients with confidence
