REQUIREMENTS
Matric, plus related Finance, logistics qualification advantageous
Financial sales account management and trade experience (5-10 years)
Fruit industry experience (5-10 years)
FMCG experience (5-10 years)
Debtors & Creditors, Invoice & Credit, Pricing & costing mechanisms
Logistic and supply & demand experience
Proficient at Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
Pastel Evolution advantageous or experience on an accounting package
Ability to take personal ownership & responsibility of job function
Strategic & analytical with ability to cope with pressure
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
High attention to detail, process orientated & solution-focused
DUTIES
Reporting into the Financial Manager and Sales and Marketing
Manage Creditors and Debtors accounts
Deal with customer credit cover and marine insurance cover
Set up workflows, timelines and responsibilities of sales administration support for the various customers
Dealing with customer orders, price capturing, invoicing, subsequent claims, debtor administration and reconciling of creditors
Capturing & reporting on account sales in terms of YTD volume, prices, sales, forecasts and trading terms
Follow up & support escalated overdue debtors (payments) and related claims & queries.
Weekly track key account metrics, price vs. market vs. alternative clients and volume vs. programme
Provide sales and customer reporting
Weekly report to Finance, Marketing and Commercial on the status of customer accounts
Assist with negotiating, process and sign off claims according to pre-defined claims
Conversion of customer program into weekly customer demand & sales plan (per cultivar, tier, region and transportation mode)
Resolve queries and maintain high service levels with customers
Communicate product and pricing details clearly to customers
Follow up on sales orders and ensure the purchase orders are placed timeously
Interact with customers and freight Co’s (road, sea and air) ensuring successful timely delivery of product and solutions
Assist with negotiation of volume and prices with customers
Prepare and present market-related data to customers and relevant stakeholders regularly
Handle deviations from expected volume of supply in collaboration with procurement
Manage customer stock levels and sales rates to minimise stock build-up, limit waste and ensure optimal returns
Ensure risk is minimized by managing customers according to pre-agreed conditions of trade
Salary: R30k dependent on experience
